Skin Rejuvenation

"younger, firmer, and healthier looking skin, even out pigmentation and skin tone, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and provide a vibrant youthful appearance"

Patients who seek skin rejuvenation cosmetic treatments have a number of options to consider. These treatments can give a patient younger, firmer, and healthier looking skin, even out pigmentation and skin tone, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and provide a vibrant youthful appearance. Skin rejuvenation techniques involve injections, laser procedures, chemical peels, and other methods of delivering aesthetic enhancement to the skin.

Skin Rejuvenation: Dermal Fillers
There are several types of skin rejuvenation procedures that are performed by injecting special compounds into the skin. Botox® is a very popular skin rejuvenation procedure involving injections of a material called botulinum toxin into the skin to decrease the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles primarily in the facial area. Dermal fillers such as collagen and similar materials can also be injected into the skin to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, improve acne scars, and enhance the volume of the lips.

Skin Rejuvenation: Laser
Skin rejuvenation techniques create an aesthetically pleasing appearance with little risk of complications and little to no downtime. Laser skin rejuvenation procedures are non-surgical, non-invasive techniques that function to do one or more of the following: reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, correct pigmentation problems, stimulate the body’s own production of collagen and elastin, eliminate acne scars, improve skin tone and texture, treat sun damage, fine scars, and more.

Skin Rejuvenation: Chemical Peels
Chemical peels are a skin rejuvenation option that uses different formulations of acid to enhance the appearance of the skin. These procedures peel off damaged skin layers to expose fresh and healthy layers beneath. There are other topical non-surgical skin rejuvenation formulas that can be used to enhance a patient’s skin.

Considering Skin Rejuvenation?
With all skin rejuvenation techniques it is important to note that there are risks and benefits associated with each procedure. Patients should be in good emotional and physical health prior to any procedure and have a realistic understanding of what the procedure can offer. Because skin rejuvenation is done for aesthetic reasons, the cost of these procedures is not generally covered by health insurance, however, these procedures are made affordable through competitive financing programs offered at the Center.
